WebWorkers.ai
About us

Built for our own business first.

WebWorkers.ai is the productized version of Tarlton Technologies' own operating playbook — 27 years of running service businesses where the phone never stops ringing, the back office never catches up, and the ops meeting always starts with "who covered overnight?"

Founder

Byron Tarlton

Founder — Tarlton Technologies / WebWorkers.ai

27 years in automotive, transportation, and service operations. Spent the first two decades working every seat in the business — tow truck, front desk, dispatch, estimator, GM, owner. Built WebWorkers.ai because nobody else was going to.

I ran a towing operation where the phone rang 24 hours a day. Overnight coverage cost a fortune. When someone called out, the owner covered the shift. When the owner covered the shift, the owner didn't sleep. When the owner didn't sleep, nothing else got done.

We tried every answer. Outsourced call centers cost more than they saved and sounded like outsourced call centers. Voicemail boxes lost us business every night. Scheduling tools didn't work when the customer was on the shoulder of I-80.

So we built Dan. Our first AI phone worker. He answered every call for our own operation for 18 months before we let anyone else use him. By the time we opened him up to the industry, he had handled 40,000+ real calls, booked thousands of jobs, and never called out sick.

WebWorkers.ai is what happens when you take that same approach and apply it to every role behind every desk. Customer service. Scheduling. Billing. Sales. Dispatch. Intake. The whole org chart.

Buy minutes, not employees. Built for our own business first. Nobody behind the desk.

Principles we run on.

Not a mission statement. The actual playbook we stick on the wall.

Built for our own business first.

We ran it for 18 months inside our own towing and roadside operations before we productized it. Every feature survived a 3am storm night before it shipped to you.

Never calls out sick.

Our workers don't take lunch breaks, need benefits, ask for raises, or threaten to quit. They also don't get snappy on the 90th call of a shift.

Nobody behind the desk.

The old model (one person, one seat, one phone) is broken. We rebuilt the org chart assuming the front line is AI by default and humans handle escalations.

Buy minutes, not employees.

No per-seat fees. No integration fees. No setup fees. You buy minutes. Use them. Buy more if you need more.

Where we came from.
